    Dog likes it but the smell..

    My dog doesn’t seem to mind the taste but the smell it leave on his face is just awful. I add it in with his kibble, but after he eats, he smells like a fish for the entire day. I’m not sure if I got a different batch because most reviews on here say there’s no smell, but we’re going to have to switch to another alternative.

    My dog loves the taste

    I bought it to help with my dogs excessive shedding. I haven’t noticed any big changes yet, but when it comes to dinner time he just can’t wait! He drools, and licks the bowl clean every night. I re ordered the 32 ounce bottle. Fingers crossed the shedding decreases (were not even half way through the bottle yet). I was super happy that it came the day after ordering lol, shipping was fast!.. I’ll update if and when I notice any changes in his coat.

    My dog doesn’t like

    My dog isn’t picky. She eats everything, even lettuce. I put this on her food for a week and tried to hand feed her but no, she won’t take anything this is on even wet food, which is her fav. I gave it three stars as the smell is fishy but there is another aroma lingering as well. Will try chews instead.

    Helped my dog stop shedding !

    Excellent product, I looked for a natural solution to my dogs dry itchy skin and constant shedding of his hair all over everything. After about a week following the instructions he stopped shedding and now I can scratch and brush him and he loses next to no hair. Definitely worth every penny. I’ve ordered multiple times and he loves it with his food so win win .

    Less shedding, nicer coat, more energy, dog loved it

    Wow!!!!! We switched our dogs food as she needed to shed some weight and it caused sooooo much shedding and dandruff. We got this to see if it would help and she LOVES the taste, eats her food right away, and within ONE day we noticed a huge difference!!!!! No more clumps of hair coming off and her coat is shiny again! Thank you!!

    Great product!

    I have been giving this to our dog since she has been 10 weeks old. She is now 9 months old her coat is very healthy and shiny. Everyone always comments on how soft her coat is. I highly recommend. I started out getting auto shipped every 2 months, but now do every month as she is now 60+ lbs and requires more.

    Works to reduce shedding

    We have two dogs: a Pyrador and a Podengo Beagle x. At this time of year, our house would have been lost in our Pyrador’s fur! While he still sheds – it is greatly reduced in comparison to his constant shedding of clumps of fur. His coat looks healthy and our Podengo X has her deep rich brown colouring back. Both look healthy and do love this flavour. Our Pyrador is a PICKY eater! Having said this, our big guy has been itchy from day one…and we have had him on allergy pills (which is a big fight to get him to take), and tried baths (another big fight)…and while it did seem to reduce his itching at first…since winter, he seems to be back to scratching…so now we go back to the drawing board and see if we can get him probiotics. As for our shark – she is fine…and rarely scratched from the start. But her rougher fur has smoothed out over the months…so we do notice this…

    Fantastic product

    Love this! Our dog stopped itching and scratching. Hair grew back in quickly in her raw patches, all dry skin around the nose and under the chin is gone. No longer licks her paws until she gets hot spots. Product has zero smell and dogs don’t even realize it’s in their food. Their coats are extremely soft. Highly recommend!!!

    Helped my dogs’ skin issues

    I believe this product really helped my dog with her itching and scabby skin. I give her about half a squirt twice a day, she weighs about 20lbs. She seems to like the taste. She still has an occasional itch but nothing compared to before, and no hot spots

    This has greatly helped the itching

    I started using this oil because my dog was itching her ears and neck often. I read online that fish oil may help with that so I decided to try this. So far it has really helped. She itches alot less and her coat is soft! I have a 60lb sheepadoodle.

    Give it time but the results are good.

    I started my German Shepard on this oil to help with itching and improve her coat. I didn’t think it was making a difference after a couple of weeks but decided to go a bit longer as the bottle said results in four weeks. Sure enough after a month her coat started getting healthier and really soft. She is not as itchy and scratching a lot less. She also really likes the taste! Will be keeping her on it long term.

    Really helped my Pup and Physiotherapist approved of this product

    My two year old puppy was going to physiotherapy he was skipping every so often and the physiotherapist recommended this omega supplement and exercises. We were doing the exercises she showed us for 1.5 months and he was still skipping. Once we introduced this product and 1 month of use he no longer skips on walks. I feel that this product really helped his healing process and the pump applicator makes it such an easy process.My dog is 12 pounds and we use (1/2tsp in the morning and night, which is roughly half a pump for each meal). The physiotherapist calculated his dose. She mentioned that often products underdose.It should also be mentioned that this product should be introduced slowly as it can cause diarrhea or soft stools. So it’s important to start really low and gradually increase to the appropriate dose!

    Dry Nose Clearing Up

    Been using for about 1 1/2 weeks now and my dog’s crusty nose has softened. Reason we started using product – She had dry skin with dull hair that was clumping and now her coat has improved. She is a Pekingese with very thick hair and Inflammatory Bowel Disease and wasn’t sure she could take this product. Maya loves it on her food, it doesn’t smell, and the signs of improvement in a very short time is very positive. She also has severe dry eye and her eyes seem better and less runny. Very happy to have found Plano Paws Omega 3. Came really fast in 2 days. Looking forward to the next few weeks.

    A MUST in Our Household!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND

    We have extremely picky dogs so finding the supplements they need and they’ll consume is near impossible. ESPECIALLY anything with fish!! I’ve tried feeding sardines, herring etc and forget it. Our dogs are crazy about this oil!! My mouth literally hit my kitchen floor.We always place it to the side of their kibble rather than directly on it, because they love to lick it up first and then eat. Of course every dog will be different so that’s just how we choose to use it. Super easy to use and dispense the proper amount for the size of your dog(s.) It’s rather funny when I forget to add it, as both dogs give me their best stink eye lol.. We have a 3yr old, and 12yr old Chihuahuas. Both have hip and or knee issues, and the oldest has quite bad arthritis in her hind end as well as a slight heart murmur. Both are rescues, but our eldest dog is a puppymill rescue and her health never came first, or even last. Needless to say she was in very poor condition when we got her last year.They get one and a half pumps daily. I keep the bottle in the fridge. There’s times I’ve forgotten to put it back in the fridge which isn’t a big deal. It can easily withstand being out for a few day’s. No fishy smell or odor. It also tastes almost like nothing. Yes! Sometimes I have to take one for the team trying or eating something, so our dogs trust that we aren’t sneaking something into their food. I’ve tasted worse things believe me, and I draw the line at liver!🤦🏽‍♀️😅 I believe the low odor and taste is why this particular oil is such a winner for anything fish tasting, reluctant dogs. Their coats have become beautifully soft, rarely shed, holy ENERGY and then some, their toenails grow like weeds.. (So be prepared to do nail trims atleast twice as often.)But MORE importantly, our 12yr old gal now acts like she’s 2-3 and brimming with energy since putting her on this, and liver slices. She quite literally now moves 2× faster than our 3yr old! Her coat has filled out and grown in unbelievably soft. She was on a few prescription medications to help with her arthritis pain. After 3-4 months of being on this product and liver strips, we dropped both medications with our vets approval, as she is doing excellent without them. On the rare days she presents pain/gets a flairup, she gets some Purica. From a medical standpoint, both dogs routinely end up with perfect full blood panel results annually. We’ve been using this product since late spring/early summer of 2020, and a bottle lasts a very long time. Around 5 months in our case for two 5-7lb dogs. The quality has remained consistent, and the price hasn’t fluctuated too much. Excellent value for money in so many ways! I highly, HIGHLY recommend this to my fellow pet parents. Also HIGHLY recommend giving your dogs Supercan Pork Liver that I also buy from Amazon monthly. It’s well worth the price! Please check it out, and consider buying.From a medical standpoint, between the two, they give your dog everything they could possibly need for preventive care and for anything current. Nevermind trying to supplement with the huge variety of powder or treat style products. The only one I’d recommend especially for senior dogs, is Purica Recovery. You won’t really need it especially if you opt to give your pups the combo, however for an extra little pain related cushion, it’s by far the best. Otherwise, this oil and the Supercan pork liver are THE perfect, BEST of the best combo! Figured it’s well past time to recommend, as well as a product I feel 100% confident in recommending. With products like these, I feel it extremely important to wait until I see results or not, any potential negative side effects, as well as how things play out medically such as vet exams, full blood panels etc.I always read,rely upon and appreciate the time people take to write reviews. I know this is a long read, but I hope this helps you and your doggo’s! 🐾

    We put it on both dogs food -standard poodle and greyhound/lab, and they love it!Zoe, the gh mix has a major skin irritation. A noticeable difference in itching the first use. Not a 100%, nothing would be, but a noticeable positive difference.

    So it’s almost 4 weeks since I started putting this in my dogs food(he eats twice a day). It totally helped with his shedding, before you could pull a handful of hair just by touching him, now it’s only the normal amount (3-6) hairs. It did take about 2 weeks to notice any improvement!     Works great!

    Dog loves the flavor on his food and it has helped his coat already. Only used half a bottle so far but he is losing less hair and his coat feels softer. Only downfall is the product is a bit expensive for the size of the bottle but it does work!

    Great product, poor disc top lid design

    I put on the Disc Top Lid and placed the bottle in a bag and it leaked out over half of the bottle because it does not close properly. Otherwise it’s a good product that has helped my bernedoodle with his dry skin, he loves the taste of it.

    Works well the first few days and then no change –

    Update: they reached out and offered a refund on the product. Bumped up to a 2 starNoticed a difference the first week of use but after 1.5 months, there is no major difference in my pet. Customer satisfaction is not a priority despite what they say. When I indicated my observations initially, Plano Paws told me to keep trying for at least a month. After 1.5 months of use, it was still the same and and all they did was just thanked me for my comments. No suggestions or comments. Would be looking into another product going forward instead. Do not recommend.
