The X large size is TINY
The photo shows a Golden Retriever in this coat. I would surprised if the XL fit a hunting dog.Be aware. I returned this item.

Cheap quality for its price
After first time putting this rain suite on my German shepherd, the cord that tightens the suit collar around my dogs neck just ripped with one tug

Pretty good!
I like this suit! I had another (cheaper) one from Amazon that the zipper rusted in 3 months. This is still perfect 5 months lates. And the side zipper is much better than bottom ones. I only wished it had a hoodie.

Worth It!
My boy is definitely going to stay warm and dry! The neck being able to scrunch so the wind doesn’t go down his neck is a great feature. The first couple times putting it on he didn’t love so much but he’s pretty used to it now!! I originally bought a size 16 but had to go up to an 18.

Great quality
I totally love this coat! The quality is outstanding, you can tighten the bottom of the legs so it adds more coverage, the legs are nicely covered too, there’s a hole for a harness, you can unroll the collar and the zipper looks like it will last a long time.I wasn’t sure about the size. So I went to their website and there’s a place where you enter your dog’s measurement and it told me to take a size over. And it’s perfect!My dog has no issues walking with this coat. He seems comfortable. Unlike the other one I had. So I highly recommend the canada pooch coat and brand.

Excellent quality, great fit!
We received this dog outfit and I was worried about the fit. Luckily it got out Tibetan Terrier very well and he looks amazing in it. It keeps him nice and dry on his walks in the rain and slush. I’m impressed by the quality of the garment as I’m so used to dog jackets/clothing to be of shoddy quality but not this one. I’m impressed!

Really short legs
I really wanted to love this suit because it was water resistant and fit nice…except the legs were only about 4 inches long well if I want to keep my dog clean and dry I want to keep all of him that way.

The Sizing is accurate
I have a 17 lb bichon frise and bought size 14. It fits perfectly! It is lightweight, waterproof, and covers my dog very well. Only his paws get wet now and a little bit on his lower tummy where he pees. Perfect and the price is worth it.

WARNING – PLEASE READ re Return Policy – and save money
I bought a slush suit directly from Canada Pooch and it was too big. It was returned. They were kind enough to grant me an exemption as I was 3 days past the 14 day limit.With this, I was recommended another size and it too ended up not fitting. I would have been more than happy to pay shipping to get the proper size but no, they basically said read the terms and would not allow a return. So I have a new suit that is useless to me. Also, if you order the large suit and pay the higher value and return it for a smaller suit, they do not refund you, only offer you the smaller suit.The flip side, if you order the smallest suit, return it and get a larger suit, they do not charge you. I have the emails from them that state this oddity. So, if you buy, save yourself $20-30.Do I like to product, yes, are there policies out to lunch, 100%. Was Ashley at customer service nice, yes, but again their return policy is horrible and for that reason, I will not buy from them again or recommend them.Just passing along an experience.

It’s easy to put on and take off… very good coverage. just make sure to adjust size of sleeves using the buttons!tried it in heavy rain and my dog was dry after about 15 min walk.

My doodle is 65 lbs and has a deep chest so the 26″ fits him just great! The fabric is light weight and the coverage pretty good! My beef is a small one…I have trouble getting the zipper started. The little protective flap gets in the way. Other than that tiny I-can-work-with-it fault, the slush suit is a perfect solution for keeping my guy cleaner and less likely to collect snowballs! Good bio-break clearance too as you can see in the photo! And it’s very well made…I suspect it will last for a very long time. It is snowing and sleeting this morning with the forecast continuing the same through tomorrow night, so this suit is going to get a lot of wear for at least a couple of days! And it’s very worth every penny!

Great quality, great customer service-UPDATED: Still Awesome!
Update: 2 years later and this is still easily a 5-Star product. Today is the perfect example. We have melting snow and ice on the paths and streets and it’s 45 degrees. Walked for an hour and the outside of the slush suit is all drippy and full of road gunk, but the inside is a clean and dry Golden. I probably only have to use it 20 times a year at most, but I love having it available. Still looks perfect. The only thing I would add is that this suit has not worked quite as well when I have used it after heavy rains where there are lots of puddles. Then, there is so much water being kicked up that it gets inside the suit and he is soaked. But for…well…”slush”, it’s still awesome.I walk outside with my Golden Retriever year round. The worst days are after rain or a snowfall when his paws throw up water, dirt, slush, etc. When we come back he is a mess. If often means shortening or even skipping some walks on really bad days. Since Goldens don’t really need a coat for warmth, I was looking for something that would protect him from the slush, but did not have any extra insulation that he does not need.The appropriately named “slush suit” from Canada Pooch seemed to fit the bill and looked really nice as well. Unfortunately I ordered a size too big and the loose fit meant that all the water and slush got inside the suit so he was just as messy as before. I contacted Canada Pooch and they were awesome. I sent them pictures of Marley in the suit and they sent me a smaller size right away, which works much better.Yes, the suit is a little more expensive, but it looks as good as I hoped. It is a lightweight material with a soft, quality feel. It’s relatively easy to get on and off (once you figure out how to control the dog 🙂 Marley keeps trying to shake it off, but it doesn’t affect his gait or speed. I have been walking Goldens around our subdivision for over 16 years, so people know us and they have definitely noticed Marley’s new duds. I am retired and so we are walking more than ever. It’s important to get out for our full distance as often as possible and the slush suit means I can do that without the inconvenience of extensive cleaning afterwards.

Full body dog suit that fits big chest/long legs
We bought and tried out so many different snowsuits for him but it was hard because he has this big odd shaped chest and long legs, so nothing fit him. This snow suit was a blessing to find since we get cold weather and snow all the time. The only modification I had to make was to sow the tummy in tighter so when he peed… it didn’t flow into the suit. Easy fix! Highly recommended

Would have been 5 stars but 1st one came defective. (Photo) .Bother!Amazon was great in getting it replaced- 5☆Other photo is of opening for harness.It does fit my pup well, sizing was accurate and my Bostie doesn’t mind wearing it at all, it does seem to be good quality, easy to put on, not overwhelming for a 15# pup.It is just like a rain suit…not lined.

Perfect for Long Hair Doodle
My Bernedoodle ‘long’ hair gets huge snowballs when playing and walking in the snow. The combination of the leg coverage and underbelly, no more snowballs! 12 inches of new wet snow, his snowsuit works perfect.

Fits mini goldendoodle well
Fits my 27 pound mini Goldendoodle well. Even better with the snaps at the bottom of the legs that I did not notice the first time I put it on her. No more built-up snowballs stuck to her fur. Now she can romp around the yard without needing a blow drying. I wish they would start making this coat with a lining for longer outings. I purchased the size 18.

Great coverage for the rain and snow.
I bought this because it was not made in China and its quality for the money. I have a 23 lb. Havanese and his hair is difficult to dry. This covers all of him except his head (he won’t wear a hood anyway). I used the neck to tail measurement and it’s perfect.

True to size. Very well made. The only thing I think would make it better is if they added snaps to front legs. My dog has short legs. The back legs are great because the snaps keep them from walking out of them but I had to alter the front legs so he could keep them on.

Awesome protection from rain, mud and wind!
This little coat was spendy but, worth every penny. Covers my little terrier perfectly, only need to rinse his feet when returning from park. His neck to tail length is 14″ and the 14″ did fit perfectly. There are nice little snaps to adjust the leg opening for a nice fit. There is adequate space to add a light weight fleece coat if needed for really cold days.The neck opening helps to keep out the rain & cold and does not annoy my dog like other rain gear with hoods. Easy to clean. Just a win all around!

Does the job
The Canada Pooch dog slush suit is working well for my sheepadoodle. I followed the size chart and the fit is fine. The legs could be longer, but that is my only complaint with the fit. The zipper is a little difficult to start, as was mentioned in another review. My dog doesn’t seem to mind wearing it and is able to run and play as usual. I purchased it to keep him cleaner when outside running in the mud and grass and weeds and it is doing the job.

Love it
Just perfect for our little guy. Now he can run around in the snow and not have “snowballs”all over him. We wear something a little warmer underneath as this is thin. But it’s really worth the money. Our dog is 16 lbs. kept the size 16. Size 14 was too small. He wears his walkee paws underneath too to keep paws protected.

Sizing is off.
The sizes were off. I have 2 golden retrievers and the largest size didn’t fit either of them.Disappointed because I though they were a solution to my dogs who love to be dirty.

It keeps a dog dry!
The slush suit keeps my dog dry in the rain and keeps snow from balling up in his hair. It saves giving him a lots of showers. I wish the snaps at the bottom of the legs were sewed to the outside of each leg to make sapping easier.

Perfect for rain or snow
The perfect thing to keep your dog dry in the muddy or snowy seasons. It will not keep them warm however because it is very thin and not insulated but for my big dog who doesn’t usually need a dog jacket when he is running, that is not a issue. It is not thin as in it will rip easily because it is made super well and it is very durable.

Perfect!
Perfect sizing. Was confused about the sizing chart because my dog has a long back, but I would definitely go by the back measurements. My dog wears a size 16. He’s a 7 month old mini cockapoo. His back is 16-17 inches long, his chest is 19inches. He is about 13 inches tall. The size 16 was perfect

Keeps dry
Keeps my dogs dry and they don’t hate too much to go out on a rainy day. It’s a bit getting use to in order to put it on my dogs but it’s worth it
